Forum Objectives

Enhancing Arab economic cooperation and integration, particularly strengthening economic relations between Iraq and Jordan, and the region in general, through facilitating productive dialogue and collaboration between private companies, governments, and financial institutions.

The forum aims to promote trade and investment, identify and promote trade and investment opportunities between the participating countries, including joint projects and investments, cross-border investments and knowledge exchange.

The forum also aims to develop regional infrastructure and explore ways to enhance regional infrastructure projects that can facilitate trade and economic growth, such as transportation corridors, energy networks, and communication systems.

The forum will seek to enhance regional integration through the establishment of economic linkages and fostering collaboration across various sectors, building long-term partnerships, and creating sustainable alliances. The forum aims to build enduring partnerships between private companies, governments, and financial institutions in the region.

Creating a platform for business matching, networking, and connecting businesses: The forum provides a platform for companies from Iraq, Jordan and the region to connect, explore potential partnerships and facilitate business contracts. The Forum will also work on facilitating business contracts by provision of matchmaking services, organizing B2B meetings, sharing investment opportunities, exchanging the best practices and learning from other work and markets experiences

Attracting foreign and regional investment to enhance investment opportunities: The Forum will work on enhancing investment opportunities in Iraq, Jordan and the region to attract foreign and regional investors and improve the investment climate in the participating countries by addressing organizational obstacles and providing incentives to investors. The Forum will also work on connecting investors with local companies in the participating countries that seek to obtain financing to cover their expansion plans.

Encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship in the region by providing support to start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, developing human capital and human capital development needs by enhancing education and training programs.
